We’re your local credit union. Sacramento Credit Union (SCU) has been focused on the Sacramento community, serving its residents since 1935. Our seven branches are local and that means we concentrate our efforts on improving the quality of life for our members and residents in the Sacramento area.
We give to local organizations and nonprofits each year, supporting schools, youth sports teams and fundraising events as well as partnering with local charities like Sacramento Children’s Home. Our hope is to help the Sacramento community grow stronger and more resilient each year.
About Us
At Sacramento Credit Union (SCU), we’re passionate about helping our members financially. Because we’re member-owned and not-for-profit, we don’t answer to shareholders. So we pass our profits to members in the form of lower rates on loans and higher returns on savings.
With seven branches throughout the Sacramento area, we greet every member with a smile, and that friendly “family feel” is embraced by our staff of about 100 employees. We know that each of our employees play an important role in our success and we truly value their contributions.
